Security Consulting Practice Leader
- Houston - Enjoy working with security technologies but tired of the contracting game? Do you have the skills to work with a wide variety of people, from CEO's to installers? Like selling but know enough of the details to lead an installation? If you have ten years of security industry experience, excellent communication and writing skills, and want to build an important part of the business, consider joining Houston's IT consulting leader as the head of our security consulting business.

Our firm provides clients with design guidance and project management focused on: A) VoIP, trading floors or contact centers, B) IP network design, data center planning, C) cabling/infrastructure and wireless networks, D) audio/visual Systems. Our clients are Fortune 500 companies, large hospitals, and universities seeking our advice in order to make informed choices. We also help manage any necessary transition, serving as the "Technology Quarterback" for the project. Most projects involve relocation and new construction, are fast-paced, and deadline driven. Clients are constantly asking us to solve their security, access control, CCTV and alarm monitoring challenges, and we need a team leader to build that business. The role will initially be a "seller/doer" and, if you're effective, quickly evolve into a management position with responsibility for the security consulting practice.

Requirements:

A college degree in a technical discipline is required, with a track record of success in security design and sales. The successful candidate will have a strong personal network with relationships in real estate, architecture, and construction trades. AutoCAD skills or industry designations are a plus.
